We’re excited to announce our Fall 2026 engineering career events and invite you to connect with talented Spartan Engineers!
Tuesday, September 15 or Thursday, September 17 | 3:00–7:00 p.m. | Munn Ice Arena
The Engineering Career Fair offers employers the opportunity to connect with undergraduate students across all engineering and computer science majors. Employers should register for one fair day only.
Wednesday, September 23 | 4:00–6:00 p.m. | Munn Ice Arena
Designed for organizations specifically recruiting Civil and Environmental Engineering students, this fair provides focused access to candidates with relevant academic and technical backgrounds.
Looking for a more personal way to engage with students? Employers may host an on‑campus networking event at the Career Café, centrally located in the College of Engineering. These events offer a relaxed environment to connect with upper‑class engineering students.

Internship for Credit
The College of Engineering offers a one credit course for students during their intern or co-op experience called EGR X. The co-op semesters enable students to thoughtfully work out a “working lifestyle” that can include continued learning, sensitivity to professionalism and professional ethics, and a habit of thoughtfully assessing current events.

International Candidates
Most international students are eligible to participate in registered cooperative education and internship opportunities with the approval of the College of Engineering and the Office for International Student and Scholars. Experiences may be found in the United States or the student's home country. Employers who are interested in exploring hiring a diverse pool of candidates and who will consider co-op or intern experiences for international students should contact The Center (careers@egr.msu.edu) to learn more.
Note: There is no need for visa sponsorship to employ an international student as a co-op or intern.
