Scholarship support for students participating in Women in Engineering was celebrated recently when Lynn Frostman (BS CHEM EGR '90) visited the college.

Engineers invent things that amaze. From Feb. 16-24, Michigan State University will join with peers around the country for the National Engineers Week celebration of "Invent Amazing."

Satish Udpa, executive vice president for administrative services, has been named acting president of Michigan State University. Udpa is the former dean of the College of Engineering.

Several important college leadership positions were established in 2018 -Yue Qi was chosen as Associate Dean for Inclusion and Diversity; Theo Caldwell was named Assistant Dean for Student Inclusion and Diversity; and Katy Colbry was appointed Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Services.

As we look back upon a year of both unprecedented challenges and success within the College of Engineering, I want to be sure to offer my thanks for all you do to make our remarkable progress possible. Your dedication and support build our program strength and reputation.

The Michigan State University College of Engineering will celebrate a quarter-century of student creativity and innovation on Friday, Dec. 7, during "25 Years of Design Day" - an event that has become the showcase of technical skill, experiential learning, and collaboration each semester.
